DMCA Policy

At TapFreeTools, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any content available on our Service infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written request must include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is allegedly infringing, including information sufficient for us to locate it (such as a URL).
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a valid counter-notification that includes:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A description of the material that was removed and the location on the Service (URL) where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of:
    • Your local Federal District Court, if you are in the United States; or
    • Any judicial district where TapFreeTools may be found, if you are outside the U.S.
    And that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will review your counter-notice and may restore the removed content unless the original complainant files a court action within the required legal timeframe.

Repeat Infringer Policy

TapFreeTools reserves the right to terminate, restrict, or disable the accounts or access of users who are identified as repeat infringers.
